BREAKING NEWS:‼️
“I’ve given the Man of the Match award back. Yes, I scored the three goals that earned us the win, but I don’t think I was the right choice — I don’t deserve it,” Robert Lewandowski said, revealing the ONE Barcelona player he believes should have received the honor — and it’s someone fans didn’t expect.

THIS IS WHAT REAL TEAMWORK LOOKS LIKE 🔥🔥

In a heartwarming moment admired across the football world, Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has demonstrated true humility and leadership. Despite scoring a stunning hat-trick in Barcelona’s 4–2 win over Celta Vigo, the Polish striker chose to hand his Man of the Match award to teammate Marcus Rashford.

The move surprised many supporters, especially since Lewandowski won the fan vote after his impressive finishing. But he insisted Rashford was the real driving force behind the victory.

After the match, Lewandowski said:

“I’ve given the award to him. I may have scored three times, but Rashford made everything happen. His runs, assists, and overall impact changed the match. I think the fans voted emotionally, but this one belongs to Marcus.”

Barcelona overturned a 2–1 deficit in a thrilling match, ultimately pulling ahead 4–2. Rashford delivered two excellent assists and constantly troubled the Celta Vigo defense, creating the opportunities that led to Lewandowski’s goals.

The win brings Barcelona within two points of league leaders Real Madrid, adding more pressure as the title race tightens.

Rashford looked emotional in the dressing room when Lewandowski handed him the award, telling him: “This is yours, brother. You made it happen.”

Fans quickly flooded social media with praise for the gesture.

One supporter wrote: “Pure class from Lewandowski. That’s what a real leader looks like.”

Another said: “Rashford was unstoppable. Lewy scored, but Rashford did the work. Fully deserved!”

A third fan joked: “When your idol gives you his award, you know you’re cooking. Rashford is shining in Spain!”

Others applauded Lewandowski’s humility, noting it reflects the strong bond and team spirit within Xavi’s squad.

Barcelona’s win boosts confidence and highlights the growing understanding between Rashford and Lewandowski — a partnership that could be crucial as the title race continues.

As one fan put it: “This is what football is about — respect, teamwork, and class. Lewandowski just showed why he’s one of the greats.”

With displays like this, Barcelona supporters have every reason to believe the title race is still wide open.
